The New Suzuki Swift 1.5GLX

Suzuki Malaysia Automobile Sdn Bhd today unveiled the new Suzuki Swift 1.5GLX, carrying forth the legacy of the internationally-acclaimed car that’s renowned for its fun driving performance, exuberant styling, advanced safety technologies and fuel efficiency.

Changes to the body include deeper front bumpers that incorporate a more sporty front face, custom lower grille and sporty side skirting. Going with the more aggressive front outlook, Suzuki has splashed some silver onto its fog lamp pipings and slapped on a sporty engine cover under the hood. A spoiler adorns the rear, while the rear bonnet features a deeper bumper that more prominently defines the outer edges of the new honeycomb grille which extends to the lower edge of the bumper.

A wraparound glasshouse gives the upper half of the Swift 1.5L GLX body a bold, sporty look and helps to imbue the cabin with an appearance of solidity. Clearly defined shoulder lines are complemented by boldly flared wheel arches and side sills that further emphasize the car’s strength and stability. The shoulder lines flow toward the new rear combination lamps that curve forward to meet them above the rear wheels, creating a uniquely sporty and well-integrated look.

The award-winning Swift has also achieved phenomenal sales worldwide due to its overall fun persona, unique and sporty European-inspired styling, dynamic performance and high-quality standard equipment and features. To date, 19,069 units have been sold in Malaysia.
